buildmates

Give Codex one link.

Codex connects Buildmates, then guides you through a profile and networking preferences you have reviewed.

Start in Codex

Copy one short prompt into a new Codex task. Codex reads the current instructions and handles the connection from there.

The prompt gives Codex the current setup instructions. You do not need to copy commands or choose a connection method.

What happens next

  1. Codex connects Buildmates and checks whether you are starting fresh or returning.
  2. With your permission, Codex reviews the workspace sources you choose.
  3. You review your profile and the page Codex creates.
  4. You choose who to meet and how often Buildmates should look.

The recommended path is Use my Codex workspace. Codex can review the recent tasks, project folders, GBrain, and local memory sources you approve. That research stays in Codex. Buildmates receives only the profile you review. You can also add an available connected app or answer focused questions.

Codex explains what it will use before it starts, then pauses when your profile or another meaningful decision is ready to review.

What opens in your browser

Codex handles the Buildmates connection inside Codex. Your browser opens only when Buildmates needs you to sign in or approve account access.

Codex will not type credentials, retrieve verification codes, or approve consent for you. You stay in control of those steps.

Continue where you left off

Buildmates checks your account before asking questions. A new Codex task can continue an unfinished setup without relying on an old conversation.

If Codex cannot connect, it explains what needs attention instead of pretending setup is complete.
